Thousands have protested in every U.S. state, and more than 60 countries in support of the Black Lives Matter movement against police violence. Demonstrators are demanding policy changes related to police misconduct, excessive force, and racial bias. And as part of the global movement, activists have also turned their attention toward the technology tools that police use to fight crime.
